Seating height informationUpdated a month ago

Our bar chairs are generally available in two heights.

  • The bar format has a height of 75cm.
  • The counter format has a height of 65cm.

The height of bar stools is important to ensure comfort and functionality, depending on the height of the bar or table they are intended for. Generally, bar stools are classified based on the height of the seat height, which has a major impact on how comfortable you can sit.

Bar stools of 75 cm height (seat height):

  • This type of bar stool is best suited for bar heights of 105 cm to 110 cm.
  • They offer a comfortable seating position for bars or countertops that are slightly higher, such as in kitchens or commercial bars.
  • These stools are often chosen for places where people stand to socialize or have a drink, and they allow your feet to still rest comfortably on the floor or stand on a footrest.

Bar stools of 65 cm height (seat height):

  • These bar stools are ideal for table heights of 90 cm to 95 cm.
  • They are often used for dining tables or lower bar tables, where the seat height needs to be lower so you can eat or drink comfortably.
  • They are perfect for places where people sit more than stand, such as at a dining area or in casual settings, and provide just enough height to ensure a relaxed posture while sitting.

Summary of key differences:

  • A 75 cm bar stool is suitable for higher bar heights and provides a slightly higher seating position.
  • A 65 cm bar stool is suitable for lower countertops or tables, and provides a more relaxed sitting position at lower levels.

So when choosing a bar stool, it is important to consider the height of the bar or table and make sure that the height of the stool matches the appropriate seating height for comfort and ease of use.
